We went to the zoo yesterday and saw all kinds of animals but no turkeys. I wonder where they all went?
The zoo was a great place to walk off some of my pumpkin pie. There was a lot of noise coming from the chimps so I ran over with my camera but I couldn’t figure out what was going on. How about a good caption…
Knowing her father’s past history, Bananas wouldn’t pull her dad’s finger when he burst out laughing and said “Come on, I won’t do it this time!”
Look Charlene !
I told you be home by 11 then you don’t come home all night.
One more time baby, one more, we are thru….and I am outta here.
That’s one angry chimp.
LOL!

Is that the same zoo as on the opening credits of Threes Company ?
I double checked online and yes, it was our local zoo since the show was shot here in L.A. Here’s what I found…
(“The opening credits where the trio are frolicking on a boardwalk and riding bumper-cars was shot at the Santa Monica Pier, prior to the building of a larger amusement park adjacent to the pier. A later opening sequence that was shot when Priscilla Barnes joined the show featured the new threesome and the other cast members riding a zoo tram and looking at various animals around the zoo. Those sequences were filmed at the Los Angeles Zoo in Griffith Park.”)
We saw the tram a few times while we were there Saturday. The zoo is kind of hilly and not easy for some to walk so the tram is helpful but walking there is also great exercise.
That is disappointing that there were no turkeys.
Hopefully, you will see them next time or so.
I like monkeys. I find them to be smart and very funny. I use to collect monkey stuffed animals and knickknacks. I have a brass monkey knickknack of 3 monkeys doing the hear no evil, speak no evil and see no evil. I still have my collection around here somewhere…

“Don’t worry about what it is; just eat it! TRUST ME, you’ll like it…..”
