I didn’t feel a thing.
But two earthquakes in one day?
The closest one was around 8 this morning and I was still asleep. It was a 3.9 with five aftershocks.
The other one hit overnight last night but it was farther away. I can’t complain about these minor earthquakes when Hurricane Sandy is headed for the east coast at the same time. They are predicting it with such precision but I’m still hoping that winds may change and it won’t be the “perfect storm” that appears to be looming. We can only hope.
We have had strong winds since Saturday and trees have fallen because of it. I had to get out and run errands Monday and Tuesday and had to stay calm driving out in it, but errands had to be done. I felt the need to hold the wheel tight or it would get away from me because of the wind blowing so hard. I hate the way the wind makes my car sway. I have a fear of the wind getting underneath my car and flipping it. It might not be possible but I do fear that happening. The temps have dropped as well. It will be cold the next 2 nights and then warm up a little by the end of the week. I can’t believe West Virginia has 3 inches of snow so soon…
Jenny, those earthquakes scare me! I was in San Diego a few years back and went thru a 4 and that was enough for me. I was like, “get me outta here!” LOL….
BUT I loveeeee California!!!!:)
What they are predicting with such percision is happening with th worse tonight into tommorrw morning.
Hurricane Sandy is heading right for us. I am a little scared about driving this morning to work and more so driving home this evening. It’s supposed to be real bad tonite. Yikes.
