I turned 78 today. Technically, I’m in my 79th year and that means I’m approaching 80! I think I still look good but when I ask for my senior discount, nobody ever says, “Com’on now…. really?” π
Looking for a lost episode of my show? Sorry, I have no access to old shows.
Hello from India, Jenny! I came across Golumpki while watching the New Amsterdam TV show and decided I’ll give it a try. I attempt my hands at making different cuisines and came across your video on YouTube from 11 years ago. I tried cooking Golumpki your way and absolutely loved it! For someone who loves cooking healthy food, I’m sure that I’m gonna be cooking this quite often. Cheers!
Do you always edit comments?
I monitor all the comments to eliminate talk show questions, most of which I do not have the answers for.
Happy belated birthday, and wishing you many more!
I was wondering if you ever worked with Paul Butterfield, my son’s father, or Mike Bloomfield, my dear friend? I met you once in around 2000, unfortunately I was with my abusive stepfather. So glad he passed on.
Jenny, a belated Happy Birthday! In your 79th year and still cracking the jokes that kept me returning to your cooking videos. I have made so many of your recipes, especially during that pandemic as your simple versions of bread making were spot on. I’m about to make your 20 minute pizza dough, even though there are no kids screaming for it, just hubby and I.
My older sis turned 79 in July and she still looks good, no wait she looks amazing the same as you!
Just hit 77 this month. Yes, they look at u like I have a 3rd eye. Ha! I hardly ask but when booking something online itβs nice to see a Senior option.
Hope you are well. Do some new Jenny Can Cook recipes if you have a chance. They are very helpful to skidiish cooks.
Blessings π
Oh Jenny, Happy Birthday! I just think you are wonderful, and I love all your youtube videos, you’re so funny, charming, and sweet. And the recipes are wonderful. Thank you so much for all you do!
Happy π Birthday! You are beautiful inside and out! My daughter, Aja, was on your show when she was 12 doing a stand up comedy routine. You came to the green room specifically to talk to her about stand up comedy. She has never forgotten you and how you made her feel. Later that same year she was called back for a show about obese babies and was surprised with a Mommy & Me trip to Greta Blackburn’s Fit Camp. We spent a week in Malibu with amazing people while they filmed everything for a follow-up show. You made a difference in my daughter’s life and I will be forever grateful to you. I pray God richly blesses you.
Jenny – happiest of birthdays to you – love your spirit and recipes! I turn 68 in October !! I can hardly believe it – keep cookin!
You popped in my head today – I was remembering some of the talk shows from ‘the good ol days’. I decided to look you up and see what you’re up to these days…… I found your YouTube cooking channel – I will definitely subscribe – I’m really tired of my own recipes. My husband loves meatloaf – I think I’ll try that recipe first.
I just wanted to send you a quick ‘hello’ and let you know I really enjoyed your show – you were definitely a bright spot during my ‘mom & housewife’ days. Your talk show may not be on anymore but you have made a ton of cooking videos to go through so everyone interested can still get a little dose of JJ whenever they like! I’m glad I took the time to look you up.
As a ‘fan’, I do hope you are doing well – staying safe & keeping healthy!
BTW – Ever think about doing a makeup, hair, dressing, decorating, exercise, ETC tips channel on YouTube for senior ladies? I would LOVE seeing you back in front of the camera! I’m sure others would too!
Thank you for all you’ve done in your career!
Regards,
