They Know Me In Poland πŸ‡΅πŸ‡±

I was going through some of my mother’s things and found an old Polish newspaper. Growing up in Canada as Polish immigrants, I remember my parents always got this Zwiazkowy paper by mail and I remember my dad used to give us the section for Dzieci (children) that had cartoons. I wondered why she kept this old paper until I noticed my photo and saw that it featured a front page interview where I was promoting my upcoming talk show.

I never knew about this huge feature in the Polish Daily News and don’t know why she didn’t tell me. For all the Poles who follow my Polish recipes, I thought you might enjoy seeing this Polish newspaper from 1991, the year my talk show premiered. I had no idea they knew me in Poland!Β Jenny Jones Polish Newspaper

How wonderful! Glad you thought to go through your Mom’s things thoroughly that day. So cool! Love your (i.e. your Dad’s) cabbage rolls recipe! I have a half-Polish second cousin. PEPJenni is his Mom’s nickname for me and a favorite!

Stay Well, Ms. Jenn! Love your poems!

Jenny we met in 2013, don’t know if you remember me or not. I wanted to send you the pictures we took. We met in a Starbucks. It was seriously one of my best days ever. I think of you often and would love to reconnect.

    Hi Jenny.
I live in the U.K and I’d like to say how much I love your recipes and the way you deliver them. I’ve used many of them, the most recent being fall off the bone ribs. Superb.
Will you be doing any more recipes in the near future, only I know just how busy you are.
    Take care and stay safe

Aww, this had to make you feel good and realize things you didn’t before about your Mom. I agree, she was proud of you and maybe she just didn’t know how to tell you. This was meant for you to find. She cared about you and she was happy for you, I just know it. Who wouldn’t be. You are a very smart intelligent person and she knew it…
Btw, I told you before your Girls Night Out Show was a talk show in the making and others saw it being a hit and it was. You were one of the best, if not the best 😊😊
