I hope you enjoyed looking at the old vintage black & white pictures from the past during your recent visit to Springbank Park.
Band photo: Accordion (Steve Los) my Dad, Mike Czich (Saxophone), Jack Klyman (Drums) and Ted Janicki (Violin).
The band photo was taken at a wedding in London at the Polish Hall.
Steve worked as an usher at Loew’s Theatre in London and knew both of your parents. He lived at the boarding house on Sackville Street and only a stone throw away from Tommy Hunter’s boyhood home. Tommy was a frequent visitor at the liquor store on Hamilton Rd, as I was told by my Dad years ago…
